  • Attendance Incentives
Alan Stolzman of the Horace Mann Companies was here on October 4 to present an attendance incentive assembly to all Eagle View students.  Students who have perfect attendance for any nine-week grading period will be eligible for a drawing to win a new bike and a helmet.  At the end of the year, a girl's bike will be awarded to a girl and a boy's bike will be awarded to a boy.  A big thank you to Alan for his generous contribution to our efforts to increase attendance!

We are providing a number of other incentives for good attendance this year.  Every month the homeroom in each grade with the highest attendance rate will be rewarded with a pizza party.  If we can better last year's school attendance rate of 95.04%, each grade will be rewarded with a trip to the movies.  Finally, students with perfect attendance for the year will earn a special prize.  See you at school!

  • Classroom Placement for the 2014-2015 School Year
As the 2013-14 school year comes to an end, we are beginning to plan for next school year.  Requests for specific classroom placements will not be accepted.  Parents may explain the learning needs of their children in writing to Mr. Curry or Mr. Fish by June 9, 2014.  The principals, guidance counselors and other school team members will consider this information as student placements for the 2014-15 school year are finalized.  Requests for a specific teacher or correspondence received after the deadline will not be considered.
