  • Classroom Placement for the 2012-1013 School Year
    Requests for specific classroom placements will not be accepted.  Parents may explain the learning needs of their children in writing to Mrs. Maust or Mr. Fish by June 1, 2012.  The principals, guidance counselors and other school team members will consider this information as student placements for the 2012-13 school year are finalized.  Requests for a specific teacher or correspondence received after the deadline will not be considered.

  • Buffo the Clown was here!
    Buffo the Clown was here on April 13th to put on a character-building assembly for our students.  Buffo helped us build on the anti-bullying/team-building themes that we've been working on with our students this year.  Buffo performed a fun assembly with a positive message for our children.

  • Poster Contest
    Each homeroom at Eagle View created a poster that visually represents our new pledge.  The posters were placed in the itinerant hallway at the beginning of February so that students could see them and vote on them.  The three posters which received the most votes will be reproduced and hung throughout the building to remind us of the importance of our pledge.  Congratulations to the winners and to all the homerooms on their excellent posters!  The winners are: 1st place - Mrs. Abramowich's fifth grade homeroom; 2nd place - Mr. Anderson's fifth grade homeroom; 3rd place - Mrs. Lane's fifth grade homeroom; and, Honorable Mention - Mrs. Fleegle's fifth grade homeroom.

  • We've adopted a new pledge!
    Our teachers and students have adopted a new pledge.  The pledge reflects our commitment to making Eagle View a place where everyone is respected as part of a team.  The pledge was introduced to students in assemblies on November 17th.  We say the pledge each morning as part of our homeroom activities, and it is now part of our home page welcome.  We hope that our attitudes about and behavior towards others will be reflected in our pledge.

  • The Super U!
    The Super U! Challenge program was here on November 1st to present anti-bullying, character-building assemblies to children in each grade at Eagle View.  We had a great time and heard a positive message.
