• Reading Practice
Reading practice is critical to a child's reading success.  Yet it should also be an enjoyable experience.  Please be sure to encourage your child's reading and not force the issue.  Some strategies to use are:
*shared readings where the parent reads a page and then the child reads a page.  Children also learn inflection and expression by hearing an adult .
*retelling the story by having the student explain what has already happened at different parts in the story.
*predicting the outcome of the story as the story progresses.
Please contact me if there are any further reading
concerns. Our encouragement is instrumental  to the reading success of your child.
