• Services available through the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program include the following: 
    • Parent training and support
    • Individualized instruction by certified teachers of the hearing impaired
    • Consultation with school personnel about hearing loss, assistive technology, how hearing loss affects learning, and communication methods
    • Assistance to school nurses with hearing screenings
    • Individual hearing testing and amplification system evaluation
    • Amplification system loaner program
    • Sign language interpreters
    • School-to-adult life transition services

    To refer a student with a hearing loss for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Support services:

    • Complete a Deaf and Hard of Hearing referral form
    • Attach documentation of hearing loss from an audiologist and/or ear-nose-throat physician
    • If a hearing loss is documented in an audiogram and the student demonstrates an educational need, parents will be presented with a "Permission to Evaluate"
