I was a 2008 graduate where I played four years of college baseball for the Mountain Cats. I have been teaching at the Somerset Area School District since December of 2008. During my time here I have taught a variety of Mathematics courses including Honors Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry and Honors Geometry. My wife, Erica, is a 2nd grade teacher at Maple Ridge. Together, we live in Johnstown with our Daughters, Ava, Olivia and Iliana.Classes: Honors Geometry, Algebra 1 (Academy), Algebra Concepts (Academy)Course Descriptions - Click on the tab at the left for specific information about the course of your interest. There you will find documents for each course including syllabus, lessons, homework assignment sheets and more.Classroom Setting - Each lesson I teach has a homework assignment that accompanies it. You can expect to get homework 3 - 5 times a week depending on days quizzes or tests fall. I give sectional quizzes generally every 2 to 3 lessons taught. Students are permitted to use notes for those quizzes. I strongly encourage students to bring their binders to class every day to assist in learning the material. Exams are given at the completion of a unit or chapter. If you are absent, feel free to print the lessons notes from online and attempt to schedule a time to meet with me.
