6th grade writers proved that argumentative writing isn't just a classroom skill—it's delicious! Students designed original donuts and wrote arguments to convince a local baker to bring their sweet creations to life. After student and staff voting narrowed it down to the top three, local bakery Stacie's Sweets and Eats made the final call. The winner? Evelyn Bowman's "Toasted Marshmallow Swirl!" Stacie made these mouthwatering masterpieces for students to enjoy! A huge thank you to Stacie's Sweets & Eats for providing a real-life opportunity for our students to realize that their words have power!
