November brought a lot of fun to the students at Maple Ridge. Each grade level enjoyed Fall or Thanksgiving themed activities. Pre-K participated in fall themed activity rotations and had popcorn and cider. Kindergarten also had themed activity rotations that ranged from crafts to snacks to games. Investigating a day in the life of a Pilgrim and pumpkin tasting filled first grade’s days before break. In second grade, they read the book, “Balloons over Broadway” and held their own Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. No matter the activity, joy could be seen on our Little Eagles’ faces!
