All 8th grade students completed their Float-A-Boat Lab in science class after studying Archimedes’ Principle. The students researched different boat designs and then used a given budget to purchase supplies to build three boats. The operator of each group added pennies separately to the boats to test whether or not it would hold 25 pennies for 30 seconds. The winning boat held 705 pennies. Congratulations Kaiden, Ella, Breanna, and Cullen!
